Sitka International Cello Seminar:  

In the summer of 2015, Dr. Kraut and famed cellist Zuill Bailey realized their dream of creating a haven for young cellists to live, learn and study when they launched the Sitka International Cello Seminar.  Geared to cellists 18+, 10 young artists have the opportunity to spend 3 weeks on the island of Sitka, AK and immerse themselves in study, performance and growth.  In 2020, a virtual seminar for cellists 16+ was added as well, allowing other students to be exposed to the Sitka experience.  For more information, visit sitkamusicfestival.org
